Our family run business, Key Street Bar of Music, situated in the heart of the small Lancashire town of Clitheroe in Lancashire is difficult to describe! Display signs state that we are a “Limited Edition” but in fact we believe ourselves to be truly unique, not just to Lancashire but throughout the UK, even worldwide.

How would you describe us?

Key Street Bar of Music isn’t a pub although it has three great bars, a heated outside area and a beer garden. Independent of any brewery, an estimated 70% of our customers are ‘regulars’ and we are on the site of the old Cross Keys public house. We are happy to provide food for the increasing number of groups who book in advance and travel, sometimes great distances, to enjoy Key Street Bar of Music but, on these occasions, we don’t have an eye on the profit factor, it is considered to be more of a service to the customer. Incidentally, there is no TV sports coverage in the public areas.

Most certainly Key Street Bar of Music is not a nightclub either, although live music is the key feature here.  It is, in fact, live music rather than food that is our staple diet and live music that is our true passion.  Where most venues specialise in some way, Key Street Bar of Music bucks the trend. Whether your personal choice be Rock, Pop or Jazz, you’ll find it, on a regular basis live, here at Key Street Bar of Music.

For the benefit of all concerned, we take an unusually responsible approach in the form of a strict ID and Dress Code. There is also an ‘Over 18’ policy and to ensure that everyone can relax and enjoy themselves, we have 18 CCTV cameras throughout the premises.  As a result of ensuring everyone’s enjoyment we have survived and thrived since 1996.
Key Street Bar of Music might be best described as a unique number one nightspot where everyone is free to enjoy live music, whatever their choice might be. That’s it! “The region’s Number One Nightspot.”
